Voice-to-text that understands intent

Babble in.
Prose out.

Speak the way you think — with ums, detours and corrections. Blatero writes what you meant in the app you were already using.

RAW → READY Self-corrections disappear. Your intent remains.

Chaotic input → clear result

Not a new way to type. A way to stop typing.

Understands corrections

‘To John… no, Mary’ becomes one correct sentence, not a transcript of your hesitation.

Works at the cursor

Word, Slack, Safari, Xcode or Terminal. Blatero chooses the safest insertion route for each app.

Stays private

Parakeet and the default refiner run locally. Cloud exists only as an explicit bring-your-own-key option.

Speaks your languages

Eight European languages, detected automatically. Professional code-switching stays intact.

Command Mode · visible from start to finish

Tell your Mac what to do. Isla shows what happens.

Press once, speak naturally and stop talking. Blatero detects the ending, shows the bounded action first and then performs it.

Features

Everything you need to type less. Nothing to distract you.

Features →

Self-corrections

The refiner understands ‘no’, ‘sorry’, ‘I mean’, restarts and repetitions while protecting names, identifiers, URLs and numbers.

Spoken formatting

Say new paragraph, comma, question mark, list or an emoji. Choose per profile whether Blatero adds a final period.

Four ways to speak

Dictate writes at the cursor, Rewrite changes selected text from your spoken instruction, Note saves locally and Prompt protects structure and technical terms.

Command Mode

Open apps, validated websites in a named browser, pre-approved Shortcuts, System Settings or Downloads. One press is enough: Blatero finishes automatically after silence.

Meeting Mode

Capture microphone and Mac audio separately, distinguish speakers locally and keep only the transcript text. Temporary audio is deleted after processing.

Isla

The focus-safe capsule uses a real waveform to show that Blatero hears you, then displays live words, the exact action, the result or a complete error.

Personal iCloud sync

Lexicon, correction memory, profiles, snippets, settings, notes and a short-lived handoff buffer sync as text through your private CloudKit database. Audio never does.

Signed updates

Sparkle checks the Stable or Beta feed. Updates are EdDSA-signed, notarised by Apple and installed only with your approval.

Everything configurable

Adjust hotkeys, Isla, models, cloud choice and insertion strategy per app. The core works locally without an account, cloud or telemetry.

Local by default

Your voice is not raw material.

Audio is never stored and never leaves your device. The 600 ms deadline also means a model can never hold you hostage: the deterministic fallback inserts immediately.
