Permissions

Why Blatero needs three macOS permissions and what it does not do with them.

Microphone

Active only during a recording you start. Audio is processed locally by default, not stored and never synced.

Keyboard detection

Required for the global hotkey. Blatero does not log ordinary keystrokes and consumes a key only when a configured action actually starts.

Accessibility

Required to find the active text field and insert text. The app does not monitor your screen. Onboarding checks changed status every 300 ms and also provides Check now.
